A very interesting member of this cultivar whose leaves turn a very dark purple black later in the year.  It has creamy yellow flowers with the characteristic orange stripes which are produced April to May.  The evergreen foliage should be cut back before flowering so that the flowers can show off their lovely colour. 35cm
